Educators, please plan your Sputum Bowl Teams accordingly and send all
information to Jeff Davis.
Here are the rules:
1. We will accept one representative team from each school. If your school has more than one team, you may have an internal competition to determine the representative team from your school.
2. The competition will be double elimination throughout, meaning if the losing team in the final competition has only lost one game, they will continue to compete until one team has lost twice.
3. There is an entrance fee! 25 Categorized and Referenced questions submitted to me in advance. Please see pages 5 AND 8 of the rules for the categories and the approved reference materials. Please make sure you categorize the questions and also include the reference!!! These can be e-mailed to Jeff Davis as I will transcribe them anyways.
4. The winning team will be the SCR sponsored representative team to compete for the state Sputum Bowl championship at the state meeting held June 13-15 at the Harrah's Resort Southern California. The SCR will cover registration fees and housing for 2 rooms for 2 nights for the teams. Teams will be required to cover their own transportation.
When you submit your team, please send the name of the school and the names of the (up to) 4 member team. The 4th team member will be the alternate. Please complete the roster form attached, or include all the details from the form in an e-mail to Jeff Davis.
