CSRC leaders advocate on Capitol Hill during AARC Fly-In
Washington D.C.-September 16, 2025. Members of the CSRC Board of Directors joined Respiratory Care Leaders from across the country to participate in the AARC Annual Fly-In.
This annual event brings together representatives from all 50 state societies to meet with lawmakers and advocate for patients and the respiratory care profession. During their visit to Capitol Hill, CSRC leaders met with California's congressional delegation to discuss legislation critical to respiratory care, including:
- H.R.2902 The Supplemental Oxygen Access Reform (SOAR) Act
- H.R. 783- The Sustainable Cardiopulmonary Rehab Services Act
“Our participation in this event ensures that the voices of California’s Respiratory Therapists and the patients we serve are heard at the highest levels. We are beyond proud to stand alongside colleagues and advocate for legislation that impacts access to life-saving care.” -Jake Miller.
The CSRC remains committed to advocating for policies that protect patient access, strengthen the Respiratory workforce, and support the advancement and advocacy of our profession.
