State Awards
These awards are funded from the net proceeds of the CSRC Annual Convention from the prior year. The CSRC selects the awardees and notifies the CRCF for award presentations. *Please note: All of the following awards can be applied for on the same application. Please submit ONE application for any and all awards.
Cynthia J. Molle Memorial Award This award is given to an outstanding student enrolled in a California BSRT program. This awardee will demonstrate the highest levels of academic success, leadership and enthusiastic support to the Respiratory profession as evidenced by active membership in the CSRC and the AARC. Kathy Miller Memorial Award A $500.00 dollar scholarship will be awarded to the second-ranked deserving student. Ms. Miller contributed greatly to our profession both as a practitioner and as past president of the CSRC. Click here to read more and apply
Jack McGee Memorial Award Jack McGee served many roles in the CSRC; President, Chair Government Affairs Committee and Parliamentarian were his most notable accomplishments. The financial award of $500 is given to the student which places 3rd in the selection process and presented at the CSRC Annual Conference. Click here to read more and apply
Mike West Golf Tournament The AARC established in 2012, a memorial award named for Mike West. He recognized the importance of educating patients to help them manage chronic pulmonary diseases, and the profound impact such self-management has on patients’ quality of life. SOUTH COAST REGION AWARDS

Awardees are selected by the SCR, which notifies the CRCF for award presentations. *Please note: All of the following awards can be applied for on the same application. Louis J. Sinopoli Memorial Award This award is given to an outstanding student enrolled in a South Coast Region (SCR) Respiratory Therapy program. The awardee will demonstrate high levels of academic success, leadership and enthusiastic support to the Respiratory profession as evidenced by their student membership in the CSRC and the AARC. GREATER BAY AREA REGION AWARDS
These awards are funded from the net proceeds of the Annual Tahoe Conference from the year prior. Awardees are selected by the GBAR, which notifies the CRCF for award presentations.
The Tom Wagner “Red Boots” Scholarship The Tom Wagner Scholarship Award was started to honor Tom, who has been a leader in the Respiratory Community on the local, state, and national level.
